9 Rome bars and restaurants charged for serving minors

ROME?Nine individuals have been arrested for selling alcohol to minors at local establishments on Saturday night, according to the Rome Police.

During an undercover investigation members of the Rome Police Community Impact Unit and Oneida County Stop DWI checked approximately 17 different locations in Rome.

Locations where alcohol was sold to a minor were:

Korps Corner, 800 West Dominick Street

Applebee?s, 1794 Black River Blvd.

Palisades Hotel, 1921 North James Street

Trace?s, 1109 Oneida Street

Bucky?s, 1305 Floyd Ave.

DeMatteo?s Bar, 705 East Dominick Street

Lupia?s Bar, 701 East Dominick Street Continued...

The Mill Bar, 611 East Dominick Street

Philly?s Bar, 415 West Dominick Street

Locations that did not sell alcohol to a minor were:

Midnite Mikes Bar, 443 South James Street

Legends Sports Bar, 526 Erie Blvd. West

Rhine Haus, 513 West Dominick Street

Black River Ale House, 1747 Black River Blvd.

Aquino?s, 910 Floyd Ave.

Sammy G?s Bar, 417 West Dominick Street

Ramblin Inn, 415 North James Street Continued...

The police charged those individuals with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child, a Class A misdemeanor.
